Apple Cinnamon Dessert Enchiladas... and In the Raw Sweeteners!

We've been having so much fun experimenting with In the Raw Sweeteners.  Stevia in the Raw is perfect for adding to coffee (and it comes in either handy packets or a large bag--can we say convenience?!), Monk Fruit in the Raw Packets are perfect for my tea (and both are zero calorie!), but the Sugar in the Raw is my absolute favorite!  Sugar in the Raw is turbinado sugar.  I've been using it for baking quite a few goodies and you can taste the difference!  I especially love topping desserts with it b/c it's bigger than your average granulated sugar and gives it such a nice, old-fashioned crunch.  My hubby does also use it in his coffee and likes it--it dissolves just as well as the other stuff.

I will confess that I had a bad habit.  I was madly in love with Hostess' Apple Cinnamon Fruit Pies, so when they went under, I started experimenting with cinnamon and apples in the kitchen.  My In the Raw Sugar was the perfect fit!  I adapted a recipe I found in a magazine and came up with this delicious concoction!

They're very easy to make.

1. Cut flour tortillas in half.
2. Lop apple pie filling in and roll up.
3. Use softened butter as "glue" to keep them together.
4.  Sprinkle with cinnamon and Sugar in the Raw
5.  Heat in the oven for 10 minutes at 375.
6. Enjoy!
