Kally Tea... Enchantingly Delicious! Giveaway

wild watermelon green tea by Kally Tea

According to IBM, computers are going to have all 5 senses by 2018.  That sounds kinda creepy, but a scratch-and-sniff for this blog post would be really perfect.  Kally Tea smells and tastes absolutely amazing.  Enchantingly delicious, yes.

As a busy homeschooling mama, I rely on an afternoon pick-me-up.  I tired of soda (way too much sugar!) and I tried coffee.  I found out that I am allergic to coffee beans.  Itching everywhere for 3 days, so not worth it!  But because I discovered I was allergic to coffee, I began to drink tea.  I love, love, love sweet iced tea.  I've tried quite a few varieties in the last couple of months.  Kally Tea is by far my favorite!  Last week, we had some of our best friends over for breakfast... and lunch... and dinner.  What can I say? We like them.  They're big tea drinkers and, honestly, quite the experts in my book.  According to them, the Organic Simply Strawberry was the best fruit tea they've ever tasted.  We also tried Wild Watermelon and Tropical Heaven Oolong.  They drank it hot, I drank it cold, and we all vouch for it.  After they asked me how much it cost, they said it was around the same price as your average package of tea.  It's about $3 for a 2 oz. package of most of their Green Teas (the Strawberry and Watermelon fall under that category) and about $4 for the Oolong Teas, and a little goes a long way.

Since Kally Tea is loose tea, you probably need either a tea strainer or tea ball for it.... unless you're like my friend who doesn't mind tiny pieces of leaves floating around in his tea.  As for me, I tried it that way and didn't really like it.  Tea Balls only cost a couple of dollars, though, and you can use them... well, for the rest of your tea-drinking life.

If you're like me and relying on some kind of drink to give you energy, think about ditching the soda or coffee for something much better for you.  Tea has a zillion health benefits relating to arthritis, cancer, diabetes, high blood cholesterol, memory function, osteoporosis, and weight management.  And if you do decide to give it a try, I couldn't personally recommend any tea better than Kally's!

Special thanks to the wonderful people at Kally Tea for providing me with this tea to review!

  1. I have some Oolong tea that isn't bad, but I found that I only like it when I eat Chinese food. Would you like some?

  3. I have never tried that flavor of tea before, but it does sound like it would be good. I have found that is the only way I can drink green tea, is if it is flavored....

  11. I used to go to this shop that had a huge variety of loose teas. Since moving many years ago, I haven't found anything like that shop and had not thought about looking online. I briefly checked out Kally Tea and can't wait to go back to their site. Their tea looks amazing.
