So far, we've made wooden trains, musical jewelry boxes, a ball toss game, and more things I can't remember right off the top of my head.
Home Depot has a similar program but I like Lowe's better because, in my opinion, their little projects are much funner and they also have on-line registration. That way if you're like me and always running about 15 minutes late, your kids won't be heartily disappointed if they get there and the kits are all gone. If you're pre-registered, Lowe's saves your childrens kits until you get there (as long as you're not too late!)
Lowe's didn't give me anything for this post--we just think they'll simply amazing and want to share this awesome freebie and our cool pictures with our blog followers & friends. You can check out Lowe's Build and Grow at www.lowesbuildandgrow.com. Take your kids. I promise they'll love it! In March, they're making these monster trucks... and, yeah, it's totally free! My little guy is going to have to be there for that one! My shop class was never this fun!

Monster Trucks! I know my son would love to make that :) Thanks for sharing this on your blog. I did not know that Lowe's dis this. You would think, being a homeschool mom, I would have known this ((blush)) lol!
ReplyDeleteI am always looking for fun things like this to take my kids too. We love craft time at our local library and of course co-op is a must. This is defiantly going on my schedule!
~> Great Blog! Please feel free to come check my Homeschool blog out too ~> http://homeschoolmom82.blogspot.com/
Just visited! And I hope you guys have a chance to check out Lowe's Build and Grow. It's one of my favorite freebies. :)
DeleteWe have never been to a Build and Grow, but my husband and my daughter are signed up to go to the monster truck ones in February and in March. I think they will have a blast!
ReplyDeleteThey're going to love it! :)
DeleteWe used to go every other weekend, too. And still have many of their creations at home, including that ball toss game!
